Another GAE project

Hello, I have started new project on Google App Engine. This time I am aming to create one-page modern looking CV. I am creating it using Twitter Bootstrap and JQuery. GAE may be not proper for one-page website, but I wanted to practice applications on that. I might try to create some more function, maybe fetching data from datastore or something. It is pretty fun to work with CSS3 and JavaScript (and I get frustrated when I cannot achieve some desired result).

Here are link to actual look: http://bsforgetest.appspot.com/
Anyway, I need to work on some games! I will do something cool on weekend (I hope) 😀

Google App Engine – first aproach

Konichiwa 🙂

This blog is evolving – I have started to learn how to create sophisticated web applications. First I did app using hibernate framework and maven tool. I didn’t worked how I planned haha, well then I jumped into learning spring and Google App Engine (GAE). I managed to do website using spring, but I want to get it into app engine (because it is nice free hosting ). However today I want to show some simple clock with logging ability application. It was made with Programming Google Apps Engine e-book.

Oh, and I use Git repository now –  clock project is available on https://github.com/morrky89/Clock

Main class is ClockServlet –  it show’s content. Also I had to set some dependency, and implement JPA (Java Persistent Api). I am using eclipse with app engine plugin.

Snackie – Android snake game

device-2013-08-15-210711

Another android app I worked on is snake  game. It was created during study e-book called “Beginning Android 4 Games Development”. Most of code is from it, I think it is an amazing book. This game may look small and easy-to-make but it wasn’t for me. In this book they showed how to create full framework, starting on interfaces, through framework and game implementation. Also it was made with MVC (Model-View-Controller) pattern. This game do not use OpenGL, it will be implemented in next chapters of this book.

I’m back! and with new updates

device-2013-08-15-210736

Uff, it was three months since my last update. I had some hard time with everything (oh, or I still have) but I managed to sort and finish some projects so I can show them 😀 . Well I will be working less on games now, because I am more focused on web applications. It’s also fun (for me 🙂 ).

Kay, back to project. You won’t see much here because it’s just raw test of casual game, that I created in my mind. I am focused on creating some interaction using touch screen, to get some good gameplay. On short movie you will see how it looks. I’m still thinking what should I do to change it into some challenging and funnier app.

MBow LWJGL FPS project #3

javaw 2013-05-01 14-45-03-72

Time for another MBow update. I was very busy lately, no free time for game development, but I managed to create an enemy! As you can see on screen, this is a bear, not animated yet, but if you get too close, he is starting to chase after player. and of course player can kill him with arrows 😀 looks silly but well…anyway I hope I will find more time now, also I am preparing to learn basics of android game development.

Here you can see how it looks:

MBow LWJGL FPS project #2

javaw 2013-04-09 21-47-18-57 javaw 2013-04-09 21-47-22-04

This time I started implement glsl shaders. Directional light per pixel shader was easy to implement (Lightouse3d shader, link below). But I had a lot of work  with bump mapping implementation(on screens you can see cube with bump mapping and without). I had problems with proper calculations for tangent space coordinates. They should be computed not in shader, so I calculate them when loading obj file, then I pass it as attribute into shader.

Here you can see how it looks:
